Nice to hear the opinion of the original revolter. I was actually thinking earlier today that someone should start a contrarian group called "I love New Facebook !!!". I think the design is way better. I admit I didn't like it at first (the interface wasn't that intuitive to me), but once I figured out how to get around I was hooked. I think it has a higher information throughput and better signal to noise ratio (fewer spammy apps cluttering things up -- though perhaps at the cost of app visibility).

There is a group pro-new Facebook and against the revolt, but it has just one member. But in my opinion, the new Facebook design is much better for facilitating communication, with additional comment areas throughout the feed. More communication and less spammy viral stuff, now if only FB would can those horrible "Someone is checking you out, click here!" ads.

As a current Facebook user, I can say I still hate Newsfeed. Sure, occasionally it does send me pertinent, reliable information about my friends. However, most of the time I feel Big Brother's eyes on me, and I see comments and information I didn't want to know about my compatriots on NewsFeed.

I am really too old to be using Facebook at all, but I quite enjoyed the newsfeed thing. Now I only seem to be able to get the newsfeed by chance. Usually I just get my boring profile, with wall postings. How do I find Newsfeed again ...please?
